This morning I did my first joint Instagram Live with Ashleigh Watson from Copper Square, sharing some hint, tips and tricks for content planning in 2021. It's definitely easier than doing a Live on your own, as you can bounce the conversation off another person and you don't have to remember everything you want to say, yourself!
This year has shown the importance of social media and getting your digital presence right. Follow our top tips and watch the playback to hit the ground running in 2021.
☃️ Get Planning
Buy a diary, get an excel doc, goole doc, trello or whatever works for you. Plan out what you want to say and how it will help you reach your business objectives.
You don't need to be everywhere at once, choose the platforms where your customers are. If you are strapped for time, do one post a week but do it every week.
☃️ Review your analytics
Go to Facebook Insights, Twitter Analytics and review your posts. Do more of what is working well and drop anything that doesn't work.
☃️ Use Tools to create thumb stopping content
☃️ Show up
Don't be afraid to show behind the scenes content or content about the people behind your brand. People buy from people and this helps build relationships with your target audience.
☃️ Schedule content in advance
Set aside time to schedule your content. This will make it easier to manage your content creation and avoid the scattergun approach of posting at the last minute. Scheduling tools to use:
