Following on from our previous blog on awareness days for December and January, in 2020 we'll continue to blog on awareness days for the months ahead. These will help you to come up with ideas for content or just 'to be in the know'.
Not all awareness days will equal new content, so pick and choose what is relevant to your audience. Try theming social media content around rugby when the Six Nations Rugby Championship is on, or run a promotion or competition themed around Mother's Day.
Another tip is to make 2020 your year to get content organised. Create a simple spreadsheet with days of the week and channels and plan your content in advance as much as possible. Set aside some time each week which is dedicated to content planning, creating and scheduling. Otherwise other priorities will take over, little and poor quality content will be going out and you'll be stuck asking yourself "why is social media / email marketing etc. not working for me?"
You'll see as we come into spring, awareness days just keep coming. There's lots of hooks for content, so no excuse for not creating great content 😀
We hope these come in useful and let us know of any days we have missed in the comments below ⬇️
